Mary possesses a decade of accounting and finance experience spanning real estate, construction, not-for-profit, manufacturing, and family offices. She maintains her certified public accountant license and earned a bachelor of science in accounting from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Mary started off as an auditor at Ernst & Young, then branched out as a private family accountant at DFMC, managing dozens of entities including individuals, partnerships, and foundations. She joined Leopardo Companies as Project Accountant and managed all accounting for Leopardo Charitable Foundation, Leopardo Energy, LLC and LCI Development Partners, LLC. Additionally, she performed internal assurance services for their logistics JV partner in preparation of their external audit. Mary also has experience in the risk management department for Leopardo Companies, assessing subcontractors’ financial prequalifications, and monitoring internal risk mitigation practices.
